OCTOBER NEWSLETTER
Congratulations to Leona Bezoff on winning the Xyron Personal Cutting System in our Grand Re- Opening drawing! Leona likes to make cards, so this will come in
handy!
New to the store-
Lovely, wistful color transparencies and collage paper by
Mary Mata featuring romantic themes of Italy,
France, (Paris),
sunflowers, and butterflies.
We have new Christmas stamps, (lots and lots of them!) in
both clear and rubber format. Designs range from humorous to more traditional. Speaking of traditional- Anna Griffin has come out with lovely embellishments (remember the pressed velvet hollies and poinsettias of years
gone by?) and ornate stamps, and papers.
See all the new Heidi
Grace Christmas papers- some are double sided: the backs are pearlized! Snowflakes,
mistletoe decorations, and sweets.
Barbara Trombley
has branched out from Art Glitter to Elements-
42 variety of earth textures in fibers, sand, rock effects and even gold nuggets. Fun 3 d effects for cards, pages and collage.
If you make many mini books, journals, and tag books you will
want to put Zutter Products Bind-it-all on your must have list for a professional
looking binding. This will bind cardstock, cardboard, thin metal and even cd’s! Now you can recycle all those junk mail
cd’s into works of art!!!
Silhouette stickers
from EK Success are in. Being black accent pieces, they will coordinate with any color page that you place them on. These
come in a variety of sports (baseball, soccer, running, tennis, basketball and ballet) and music themes (guitar, drums, piano,
violin, cello, trumpet, and music notes). We also carry local school papers.
We now have pretty Harley
Davison stickers for the gals including a tiny pink “Queen of the Road” outfit that Barbie would envy!
Are you Daffy for Disney?
We have a new collection of Mickey and the gang stickers, (and pretty- in -pink princess papers for non-Mouseketeers ). We
also have the Cricut Happily Ever After cartridge (Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty,
Snow White, and Mulan) with images of the princesses, and principal characters.
We have just gotten in some exquisitely drawn new vineyard
and wine themed papers and stickers from Reminisce.
Coronado Island stamps
are now being made with Baltic Birch hardwood ply mounts which use more of the tree with only 5% waste than (usual wood stamps
which has 25% scrap) .
Do you struggle to glue down rickrack and thin ribbon? Zips Ultra Thin Line adhesive is the answer!
This was recommended by one of our customers. We are always open to new / old products.
Stickles (similar
to fabric paint) adds sparkle of a wide variety of colors to your paper crafts.
.
Impression Obsession’s newest clear stamps are intricately detailed-foliage, filigree, flourishes,
flowers and more. These would be nice touches for scrapbook pages, cards and stationary.
For artists we have the Work
Board- a stretcher bar and work surface (lap, table or tripod). Put it on the
Guerilla Field Painter tripod. It has a built in level, adjustable legs and height
and weight bag holder. The work board comes in sizes for half, full, and quarter sheet sizes.
If you missed Beeswax
Collage Class with Corinne Stubson, we are having it again!! November 3rd,
l0:00-3:00 lunch included. This is a fun, interesting, fast paced class. You will produce a beautiful translucent picture
or two to take home (keep one, give the other for a Christmas present! Your friend will be amazed to find out how you made
it.).
We will have two card classes: SpOOky Halloween, and Fall Harvest so you can make some personal cards
for the season.

be done by November. Many of them do not have families, and it is really a lonely time during the holidays. One of our customers
